Josh learned construction by doing it, from framing and concrete to roofing, electrical and finish work, years before he ran a project.

He began his career as a project engineer with commercial builders, handling bids, permits, schedules, submittals and change orders. He went on to co-own a general contracting firm, overseeing field operations, project management and finances, and then managed design-build projects from a client’s first idea to move-in day.

For nearly five years after that, he managed industrial development projects, most recently as a senior development manager on projects in several states, taking them from land acquisition and entitlement through design, construction and leasing. He worked with contractors, consultants, cities and utilities to keep each one moving.
